Inclusion Spotlights Software-as-a-Service Company's Sales Strength

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Pointandship Software, Inc. The HispanicBusiness 500, published by HispanicBusiness Magazine, has served as a barometer of the U.S. Hispanic economy for more than two decades. Companies are ranked based on their previous year's revenue.

"In the world of business, a major recession does not necessarily mean everybody suffers together. Bright spots always exist," wrote Rob Kuznia in the June issue of HispanicBusiness Magazine.

To be considered for the HispanicBusiness 500, companies must be at least 51 percent Hispanic owned, based in the United States, and the principals have to be U.S. citizens.

"It's humbling to be included among such notable Hispanic-owned organizations," said Point&Ship President and CEO Ted C. Mesa. "This ranking further raises our profile as a prominent minority-owned enterprise and inspires us to keep succeeding at an even greater level."

Building a cloud computing environment with on-demand access to compute, network, and storage resources requires an elastic infrastructure at multiple levels. Virtualization combined with x86 servers has transformed the way we scale out compute resources. Unfortunately, legacy Fibre Channel and iSCSI storage architectures are rooted in rigid mainframe-era designs, and are fundamentally mismatched with the dynamic, shared modern data center. In his session at the 10th International Cloud Expo, ...
