Hosted Solutions Signs New York-Based Risk Management Group

Providing complete range of IT Managed Services

Hosted Solutions, a provider of IT infrastructure as a service (IaaS), announced today that it has signed New York-based Risk Management Group (RMG) as a client, and will provide a full scope of hosted IT services, running RMG's production infrastructure at a fraction of the cost of other options.

Today's announcement further underscores Hosted Solutions' significant growth as a major presence in the managed services industry, with five data centers located throughout the East Coast, and customers located around the United States.

As a leading player in the Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS) market, with a focus on credit risk management, surveillance, whole loan pool management, servicer reviews, due diligence, staffing and various analytical projects, RMG has seen its business skyrocket over the last 18 months. "We needed to spend our time focusing on how to meet the growth in demand for our services," said Charlie Cacici, RMG Managing Member, "and less time on how our network would meet that demand as well as grow with us."

The search for a partner that would meet their requirements led Cacici and RMG to Hosted Solutions. RMG quickly discovered that Hosted Solutions, with five SAS 70 Type II-certified data centers staffed every second of every day, was able to provide the kinds of IT infrastructure services that would require significant investment of time, capital and staff if RMG were to try to implement it itself. Those services include managed network security, managed data protection, operating system (OS) management, database management and more.

In addition to Hosted Solutions' state-of-the-art physical infrastructure, RMG was impressed by the company's exclusive "Hi-Touch" consultative services, which helped it design, implement and operate specific services that directly and positively impact RMG's bottom line while allowing the firm to better focus on its core competencies. "We project significant growth over the coming 18 months," Cacici said, "and quickly grew to appreciate Hosted Solutions' approach. We realized we could trust them and regard them as a partner, and that they would work with us to help us meet our escalating requirements."

Hosted Solutions officials said that as the economic recovery takes hold, they anticipate a rapid growth in the level of business transactions, with no tolerance for network downtime. "Many of those transactions will take place online, requiring a complete dedication to building and running network infrastructures that are consistently reliable," said Christopher "Kip" Turco, Hosted Solutions' Chief Operating Officer. "Those infrastructures must also be designed from the ground up to meet evolving GRC regulations, especially in key vertical industries such as financial services." Turco noted that Hosted Solutions' data centers are designed to enable companies to comply with regulations such as Sarbanes/Oxley, PCI DSS, ISO 17799, HIPAA and more.

Java EE 7 continues the ease of development push that characterized prior ...

2011 was a year of rapid adoption for public and private cloud services. Instant and on-demand server provisioning was the driving force behind the massive growth. On top, cloud server templates and script automation simplified application installation for simple and pre-defined application stacks, but have not targeted more complex enterprise application environments.
