Mezeo Software™ and IceWEB Announce Partnership to Simplify Deployment of Cloud Storage Solutions

Industry leading solutions offer a highly scalable end-to-end cloud storage solution purpose-built for service providers

HOUSTON, September 30, 2009 – Mezeo Software, the leading provider of deployable cloud storage solutions purpose-built for service providers, today announced it has partnered with IceWEB (OTCBB: IWEB), a leading provider of storage solutions and on-line cloud computing application services.  The joint solution enables service providers to quickly and easily deploy their own complete, service-enabled cloud storage offering.

The Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform and IceWEB’s Iplicity Cloud Storage Appliance provide an end-to-end, multi-tenant cloud storage solution that can be easily, rapidly and securely deployed in a centrally managed private storage cloud or in a hybrid public/private cloud configuration.

The joint solution enables service providers to go to market efficiently and affordably,  without the costs and delays of developing a solution from the “ground up.” The Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform offers SSL encryption of files in transfer and 256-bit AES encryption for data at rest.

In addition, the Mezeo solution includes RESTful Web Services APIs, which allow service providers to offer advanced cloud storage services that extend far beyond what is offered by traditional storage. Users have anytime/anywhere access to stored files via the Web, smartphones (BlackBerry,® iPhone and Windows Mobile®) and desktop using the Mezeo Native client for Windows and WebDAV-based connectivity for Linux and Mac.

“Mezeo understands the importance of speed, simplicity and security when helping service providers deploy their own feature-rich cloud storage services,” said Gary Dunham, Senior Vice President of Product Development and Engineering for IceWEB. “The superior user experience of the Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform makes it a perfect match for our products.”

“Service Providers looking to break into the cloud storage market are wanting to do so as quickly and affordably as possible.  The Mezeo and IceWEB solution provides all the necessary building blocks to quickly set up a service-enabled storage cloud with minimal complexity,” said Mezeo President and CEO Steve Lesem. “We are all about security and dependability, so we appreciate that Iplicity enables network support staff to easily manage the cloud storage solution by growing volumes, reconfiguring network connectivity and creating multiple automatic replications of useable data at diverse locations in real time without impacting overall systems availability.”

Wide and cheap availability of cloud-based media services is upon us.
