I and at least a hundred other people have written about how to define Cloud Computing and the importance in doing so accurately. But something with as glib a name as "Cloud Computing" is going to be prone to misinterpretation, term elision, and lot of stuff that's just plain wrong.

The 5,000 or so attendees who are expected to show up in New York in April for Cloud Expo are at the top of the pyramid in understanding what Cloud Computing is, and how it can be specifically integrated into what they do for a living. Nevertheless, even at this level there is plenty of confusion, no doubt promulgated by the sheer amount of theories that people still offer in these early days of Cloud Computing

A couple of conference speakers aim to clear up any misunderstandings by focusing on case studies to demonstrate that of which they speak. Lew Mooman, President of Cloud and Chief Strategy Officer for Rackspace, and Michael Crandell, CEO and Co-founder of RightScale, have developed a session prospectus that states:
