OnDemand Recovery to Manage GWAVA Cloud-based Disaster Recovery for UK

GWAVA Reload to be hosted in the cloud to automate the gathering of critical data for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.

GWAVA, Inc., a vendor for text and email archiving and disaster recovery, announced on Thursday that OnDemand Recovery have been selected as their accredited Managed Services Provider for the implementation and support of online Reload services. This service will be branded as OnDemand Reload and be resold through UK and European-based channel partners.

GWAVA Reload is a hot backup and disaster recovery solution for GroupWise email servers. OnDemand Reload addresses the needs of GWAVA Reload customers to automatically and securely transmit GroupWise backup data offsite, and synchronise it to dedicated systems located in secure data centre facilities. The managed service enables GroupWise data to be restored over the wire in the event of a site failure at the primary location.

Richard Bliss, GWAVA SVP of Global Marketing explained, "OnDemand Recovery is an experienced partner in developing hosted solutions." Bliss added "it really helped that they already have experience of implementing and supporting Reload in an online environment and are a partner oriented organisation."

Steve Evans, OnDemand Recovery Operations Director, stated "Becoming GWAVA's only accredited UK and Europe-wide MSP for online Reload is a great endorsement for us. The level of interest in extending Reload offsite for Business Continuity is growing and OnDemand Reload is a perfect fit for both companies."

Tony Haines, Director at authorised GWAVA reseller Blueloop commented on the announcement "We have been installing Reload for a number of years, and have worked with the people at OnDemand Recovery before. This really simplifies support, with GWAVA backing both the product and the MSP, partners like ourselves can now tailor the customer support processes to ensure rapid response and escalation for any issues that may arise."
