Liberty Fitness Looking for the Ultimate Loser

16-Week Weight Loss Challenge Looking for Participants

AUSTIN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 02/06/06 -- Liberty Fitness wants losers. Actually, they are looking for the Ultimate Loser as part of their 16-week weight loss challenge.

Each of the clubs in the Liberty Fitness network will work with 25 women to help them lose up to 100 pounds. One winner from each club will be entered in a national contest. The Ultimate Loser will be flown to Austin, TX, for a private meeting with Founder Liberty Harper, CEO Linda Burzynski and representatives from the Polar Co.

"This is a great way to get and stay motivated to reach your goals," said Liberty Harper, founder of Liberty Fitness. "This should be a very fun contest and it's also an excellent way to get introduced to our facility."

Each contestant must meet eligibility requirements including having between 15 and 100 pounds to lose. They should be able to work out three times per week and must have a "before" photo taken.

In return for entering the contest, each participant will be assigned a certified personal trainer and receive nutritional advice as well as ongoing support. There is no entry fee.

The challenges of aggregating data from consumer-oriented devices, such as wearable technologies and smart thermostats, are fairly well-understood.
