ACTIVE Network Technology Powers Nationwide Event to Get Kids on the Ice

ACTIVE Network (NYSE: ACTV), the leader in cloud-based Activity and Participant Management™ (APM), and USA Hockey kick off annual “Try Hockey For Free Day” on Saturday, November 3, to help expand youth participation in the sport. For nearly a decade, ACTIVE Network has managed USA Hockey’s membership registration system, mobile app and custom website.

“Try Hockey For Free Day” is a USA Hockey program designed to introduce new kids, ages four to nine, to the sport. USA Hockey is the National Governing Body for the sport of ice hockey in the United States. Its mission is to promote the growth of hockey in America and provide the best possible experience for all participants by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport.
