Parks Associates: Over 40% of U.K. broadband households interested in mobile security alerts from their service provider

DALLAS, Nov. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- New research from Parks Associates shows growing interest among U.K. broadband households for provider-deployed security services, with over one-third very interested in alerts on smartphones, PCs, and tablets for fire, water leaks, or open windows in their home. Thirty-five percent are very interested in an offering where appliances automatically adjust their settings to minimize electricity usage.
