SYNNEX Corporation Recharges Reseller Marketing Services with Its Next Generation-Focused Solution DEMANDSolv

SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading distributor of IT products and services, announced today from its Varnex Fall Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, that its US distribution division has launched the new generation of its US reseller marketing services with DEMANDSolv. Aligned with SYNNEX TSD (Technology Solutions Division), DEMANDSolv is designed to help SYNNEX customers create strategic marketing plans to maximize and easily manage vendor market development funds (MDF) programs, as well as to create and manage repeatable, turn-key end-user marketing campaigns.

“Our driving philosophy is to continually create pathways to increase our resellers’ business productivity so they can focus on managing the core competencies of their businesses,” said Bob Stegner, Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America for SYNNEX Corporation. “DEMANDSolv’s team of seasoned IT channel marketing professionals has simplified how our customers can reach and communicate with end-user decision makers with campaigns that are focused on solutions sales, new vertical markets and technical services and support. Their channel-specific experience and industry connections help our resellers implement effective marketing campaigns in a way that traditional marketers cannot.”

The DEMANDSolv team helps resellers navigate through and manage the major challenge of capturing and using vendor MDF to reach new customers, strengthen existing relationships and grow their businesses through vendor co-branded marketing activities and co-sponsored events. The team writes the reseller’s strategic plan to gain incremental marketing dollars, does all the heavy lifting to implement the campaigns’ tactics and provides proof of performance for the reseller to use for the claiming process.

SYNNEX surveyed its customers to better understand what areas they will focus on within the next 12-16 months. From that, the DEMANDSolv team created four distinct marketing campaigns to promote resellers solutions within these categories: Managed Print, Managed Services, Virtualization and Health Care. Each campaign consists of multiple tactics that can be used individually or as part of a multi-touch campaign and are accessible through the DEMANDSolv portal.

Another component of DEMANDSolv delivers high-quality end-user leads to generate sales through a variety of methods. SYNNEX’ SMB signature reseller community, Varnex, is giving its members 250 targeted end-user contacts to use at no charge for campaigns scheduled before December 31, 2012.

“One of the struggles we’ve had as a sales organization is finding time to reach out to past customers that we’ve not worked with in a while. The DEMANDSolv team created a game plan tailored to our specific initiatives and solution offerings, then executed it on a scale that would not have been possible internally to effectively reach these inactive clients. DEMANDSolv should be leveraged by every sales organization,” stated Logan McCoy, Vice President of Sales, CCB, Inc.

“Big Data analytics will shape the form of nearly every process going forward in time, from the color of the latest fashions, what the candidates say in one town versus another to the chemical composition of the latest super drug,” noted Steve Knodl, Director of Product Management at NextIO, in this exclusive Q&A with Cloud Expo Conference Chair Jeremy Geelan. “Whether these are considered “new” products,” Knodl continued, “or continuous improvement on previous processes is largely in the eyes o...
Organizations want extraordinary results from their IT units. Today's mantra is faster delivery, better quality, cheaper solutions, and safer environments. Many CIOs are implementing cloud computing enterprise architectures to address these challenges with results varying greatly. Why are some organizations seeing only limited results from cloud computing implementations while others are increasing market share, decreasing costs, generating value, and innovating faster?
The rise of cloud computing has exposed hard drive-based storage as the new data center bottleneck. Combating this, data center managers have deployed SSDs to gain the performance needed to provide real-time access to data. However, due to budget constraints, many have turned to consumer-grade SSDs without understanding that they wear out quickly when processing enterprise workloads. In this session, Esther Spanjer will discuss recent endurance advancements in SSD technology that enable usage of...
