Supermicro presenterà anche le sue ultime piattaforme FatTwin, che offrono la più alta densità di archiviazione del settore, con fino a 8 dischi rigidi da 3,5" in 1U, e 12 schede GPU/MIC a doppia larghezza e ad elaborazione altamente parallela in 4U.  La piattaforma FatTwin utilizza risorse condivise e consente un notevole risparmio grazie alle ventole di raffreddamento heavy duty da 8 cm ad alta efficienza energetica, al sistema di ventilazione ottimizzato e agli alimentatori di livello platino (94%+), per un risparmio energetico superiore del 16% rispetto alla concorrenza. L'azienda sta facendo grandi passi avanti nell'innovazione delle sue piattaforme: dai design di ventilazione ottimizzati che supportano temperature ambiente fino a 47° C,  all'impiego estensivo degli economici moduli Supermicro di alimentazione di backup a batteria (Battery Backup Power, BBP™), che sostituiscono i tradizionali sistemi UPS ed offrono fino al 99% di risparmio energetico per applicazioni ad alta disponibilità.
