dotDigital Group plc awarded coveted position in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2012

Digital marketing software and services business placed 38th with 612% growth

London, UK, 12 November 2012 - dotDigital Group plc, the leading provider of intuitive software as a service and managed services to digital marketing professionals, has been announced as a 2012 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 winner. The prestigious awards, run by the business advisory firm Deloitte, are an independent ranking of the UK's fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth over the last five years.

dotDigital Group plc was placed 38th in the top 50, with growth of 612%. Headquartered in Croydon, dotDigital was part of a South East bias in this year's winners list, although the growth is a credit to the group's global expansion.

Tink Taylor, Chief Operating Officer of dotDigital Group plc, commented, "The impressive growth we have achieved over a period of five years in order to win this award, is testament to our commitment to innovation in the fast-moving digital marketing space."

"As well as recognising the achievements of the past few years, high-profile awards like this can give us a real boost for future growth by helping us to continue to secure the best talent to service our clients, as well as attract new business. To achieve our future growth plans we will also continue to invest in research and development to deliver the best possible marketing automation product."

dotDigital Group plc has recently undertaken a number of developments as a result of continued growth, now employing over 170 people, having opened a new office in New York as well as a larger space in their South London HQ. The group is also making key strategic hires, with the recent appointment of Simone Barratt, previously President of eBay group company e-Dialog, as non-executive Director.

The new open source cloud orchestration platform called OpenStack is the promise of flexible network virtualization, and network overlays are looking closer than ever. The vision of this platform is to enable the on-demand creation of many distinct networks on top of one underlying physical infrastructure in the cloud environment. You're getting pitched every day from your legacy enterprise software and hardware vendors about "cloud." They're doing an amazing job of convincing your CIO and CTO about what cloud is and how you should use it. The reality is they're defending their shrinking market share and keeping you on the legacy treadmill for as long as they can by selling you solutions that aren't "cloud." In her session at the 12th International Cloud Expo, Niki Acosta, Cloud Evangelista for Rackspace, will talk thro...
The rise of cloud computing has exposed hard drive-based storage as the new data center bottleneck. Combating this, data center managers have deployed SSDs to gain the performance needed to provide real-time access to data. However, due to budget constraints, many have turned to consumer-grade SSDs without understanding that they wear out quickly when processing enterprise workloads. In this session, Esther Spanjer will discuss recent endurance advancements in SSD technology that enable usage of...

Organizations want extraordinary results from their IT units. Today's mantra is faster delivery, better quality, cheaper solutions, and safer environments.
