AppFog Welcomes Appsecute, Garantia Data and Hosted Graphite to its Add-On Partner Ecosystem

AppFog, the leading cloud-based platform-as-a-service (PaaS), today announced that Appsecute, Garantia Data and Hosted Graphite have joined its growing add-on program of third-party service providers. More than two dozen partners are now part of AppFog’s add-on program providing services to increase AppFog capabilities.

"We're very proud of the ecosystem that we’ve been building at AppFog, and believe that our success is directly linked to it," said Lucas Carlson, Founder and CEO of AppFog. "With the addition of these three new partners, we continue to extend our platform's services ecosystem into key areas including NoSQL DBaaS, high performance graphing and cross-cloud project management. These partnerships are vital for our developer customers as we expand our enterprise offerings."

"We are looking forward to giving AppFog users an easy way to share resources and manage their applications using Appsecute's collaborative management tools," said Mark Cox, CEO of Appsecute. "Combining AppFog's leading platform with our tools will give teams, IT departments and companies an effective way to manage the transition into production."

AppFog’s add-on program was launched in December 2011 and brings together more than a dozen partner providers on the AppFog ecosystem platform. The growing ecosystem is enabling developers to more easily pick and choose third-party service providers to help build and manage highly reliable and scalable applications through AppFog’s intuitive interface. With the company’s rapidly growing customer base responding very favorably to the company’s robust platform, AppFog plans to further expand its partner ecosystem to meet the needs of its users.

“We’re very pleased that our Redis Cloud service is now available to AppFog users as a simple add-on,” said Ofer Bengal, Co-founder and CEO of Garantia. “AppFog users can now consume Redis resources in a highly available, scalable and completely hassle-free manner, while enjoying the highest performance. Furthermore, they can create unlimited dedicated Redis DBs in a single add-on."

AppFog is a complete cloud-based PaaS solution used by tens of thousands of developers to quickly and easily deploy applications to the cloud. By collaborating with its users to understand pain points, AppFog has delivered an innovative platform, supporting PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, Node.js and Perl, that automates the deployment, scaling and management of cloud applications so developers can focus on their code. Backed by a strong user community, the company is known for its rock-solid service and support, along with its commitment to the open source Cloud Foundry project.

"We at Hosted Graphite are very excited about our partnership with AppFog,” said Dave Concannon, Co-founder of Hosted Graphite. “Now AppFog customers have a simple way to track, visualize, and analyze the performance data coming out of their applications. Developers can see how their code is performing in real-time – getting immediate information on how their service performs for their users. The AppFog platform gives developers an amazing range of tools to build, scale, and distribute their applications, and we're very pleased to be a part of that."

Digital transformation is too big and important for our future success to not understand the rules that apply to it. The first three rules for winning in this age of hyper-digital transformation are: Advantages in speed, analytics and operational tempos must be captured by implementing an optimized information logistics system (OILS) Real-time operational tempos (IT, people and business processes) must be achieved Businesses that can "analyze data and act and with speed" will dominate those t...
