Zingaya Launches WebRTC Version as It Continues U.S. Expansion

One-Click Calling Creates the Fastest Way to Contact Customer Service Desks

PALO ALTO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/15/12 -- Zingaya, developer of scalable, high sound quality, web-based VoIP applications for e-commerce websites and customer service call centers, today announced that the Zingaya click-to-call widget is available on WebRTC via the newest version of Chrome. The Zingaya WebRTC widget is in production and available for all Zingaya users and customers.

Adoption of Zingaya's single click calling solution by customer service departments has been growing in the U.S. and abroad. Zingaya is now seeing more than 250,000 calls per month and nearly 1 million call minutes through its click to call technology.

"Zingaya developers have been actively involved in the WebRTC standard and are excited to leverage our leadership by releasing our customer service click to call widget on WebRTC via the newest version of Chrome," said Alexey Aylarov, co-founder and CEO of Zingaya. "Customer support desks need to adapt quickly, and our widgets recognize if the end user is using a WebRTC browser or older Flash browsers. Consumers calling customer service desks don't need to know what technology they are using. They just need to understand that with one click they can get the help they need."

As implementations of Zingaya increase, the company has also expanded its advisory board, which already included Esther Dyson and Sergei Burkov, a former product search manager at Google. Recently, Zingaya added Cary Fitzgerald, formerly the director of engineering at Cisco Systems, and Bill Tai, of Charles River Ventures to its advisory board.

Zingaya enables VoIP calls without a phone or a download. E-commerce companies and other customer-focused organizations can embed a widget on their website that allows their customers to simply click a button to start speaking to a live customer agent. The customer speaks through their browser, instantly. The customer agent answers the call on their end as if the call came from a regular phone.

Coming Soon: Zingaya Private PaaS For VoIP Cloud Services
In the future, Zingaya expects increasing demand of new VoIP cloud services beyond click to call. Soon, Zingaya will open its private cloud platform for key enterprise developers and vendors to let them use Zingaya's enterprise-grade cloud platform.

On Thursday, November 29, Zingaya CEO Alexey Aylarov will speak on a panel at the WebRTC Conference & Expo on "Delivering WebRTC in Service Providers, OTT and WebSites," to be held in San Francisco.

Users with the latest version of Google Chrome installed can test the WebRTC-version of Zingaya at http://demos.zingaya.com/webrtc.

“Trust is an ongoing journey and sits at the foundation of any vendor relationship – the companies that don’t consistently earn trust won’t be around long,” noted Henrik Rosendahl, Senior VP of Cloud Solutions at Quantum, in this exclusive Q&A with Cloud Expo Conference Chair Jeremy Geelan. “As they do more with cloud, trust will organically grow – maybe it’s just about meeting SLAs or seeing firsthand that data is there when you need it,” Rosendahl continued. If zettabytes of data exist, why is less than 1% of the world’s data being analyzed today? Seasoned entrepreneur and startup CEO Radhika Subramanian believes that the inability to analyze and gain value from Big Data is that organizations are taking a services-centered approach. As the title of the session implies, Subramanian believes that the data needs to do the talking, not armies of analysts searching and querying databases. Her company has developed high-speed, advanced algorithms to autom...

Cloud enables SMBs to access new, scalable resources – previously only available to enterprises – in flexible and cost-effective ways. McKinsey’s SMB Cloud Report projects the public cloud market to reach $40-$50 billion by 2015, with SMBs comprising 65% of public cloud spending in 2015. But selling cloud to SMBs raises the questions of who, what and how. In this session Manjula Talreja, VP of Cisco’s Global Cloud Business Development Team, will discuss the importance of knowing who SMB...
