CARTES 2012 : une édition riche en innovations et business international

La 27e édition du Salon CARTES a confirmé une nouvelle fois sa position de rendez-vous international incontournable de tous les professionnels des smart technologies. Pendant 3 jours, ce sont plus de 19 000 visiteurs qui sont venus à la rencontre des 435 exposants français et internationaux pour découvrir les innovations et les tendances de l’année 2012, en matière de paiement, de mobilité, de sécurité et d’identification. Trophées SESAMES plébiscités, conférences thématiques d’experts, nouvelles animations, démonstrations d’innovations ; cette année encore, tout était réuni pour répondre aux attentes des professionnels du secteur.

Avec cette nouvelle édition, CARTES témoigne à nouveau de la richesse internationale, de la diversité et du dynamisme du secteur des smart technologies et de la sécurité numérique :

Les succès et les temps forts du Salon

Cette année, le Salon CARTES a une nouvelle fois su créer de nombreuses opportunités de business mais surtout d’échanges pour l’ensemble des professionnels.

Le World Card Summit, la conférence d’ouverture, a fait la part belle au paiement mobile, avec notamment une présentation de Patrick Gauthier, Directeur des opérations - PayPal Retail Services, et a réuni les leaders du marché (American Express, Gemalto, Giesecke & Devrient, Infineon Technologies, Morpho, NXP Semiconductors et Oberthur Technologies) devant un public attentif de plus de 550 auditeurs.

À cette occasion, Eurosmart a présenté en avant-première les chiffres 2012 et les prévisions du marché mondial. L’association confirme la livraison de plus de 7 milliards d’unités d'objets portables sécurisés en 2012 et anticipe une croissance robuste de l’ordre de 10 %, conduisant à une prévision de livraison d’objets portables sécurisés de près de 7,7 milliards d’unités en 2013.

Au cœur du Salon, les visiteurs ont pu facilement retrouver les grands acteurs dans les différents secteurs dédiés (Identification, Machines, Paiement Mobile, Tests et Conseil). Les nouvelles tendances et de nombreuses innovations ont été présentées dans l’espace consacré aux start-ups, le « Village Innovation », et dans les espaces « Sécurité dans le Cloud » et « Mobilité Urbaine Intelligente ».

L’Inde était mise à l’honneur cette année : le Salon a accueilli un nombre croissant de visiteurs indiens venus rencontrer les grands offreurs internationaux et des experts sont venus présenter dans les conférences les grands projets d’identification.

Les conférences plébiscitées du Salon

Au total, ce sont près de 1 600 auditeurs qui ont assisté aux 119 conférences organisées en 4 grandes thématiques : Identification, Innovation, Mobilité, Paiement et Sécurité.

Cette année, le paiement mobile, l’e-Commerce, le m-Commerce, le marché du prépayé ou encore les applications NFC, ont rencontré un vif succès, tant sur les stands qu’à travers les différentes conférences, dédiées notamment à l’influence du paiement mobile sur l’industrie des paiements, la nouvelle génération d’authentification et de signature électronique pour mobiles, tablettes et PC, et les innovations dans le prépayé en Europe et dans le monde. Ces conférences ont su apporter un éclairage différent et de nouvelles perspectives aux intérêts des professionnels du domaine :

Nous vous donnons rendez-vous du 19 au 21 novembre 2013 pour la 28e édition du Salon CARTES au parc des expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte. Après l’Inde cette année, c’est le Brésil qui sera le pays à l’honneur pour cette prochaine édition.

CARTES s’offre une nouvelle identité en 2013, avec un nouveau logo et une nouvelle accroche « Secure Connexions Event » qui reflète sa vocation à développer des synergies globales, à un niveau humain et technologique, et à démontrer la connexion entre le monde réel et le monde virtuel.
