BlackLine VP of Marketing Howard Goldstein was honored with a Gold Best in Biz Award for his efforts building the company's marketing program from the ground up.  Under Goldstein's direction, BlackLine has a comprehensive program of Trade Shows, Webinars, Roundtables, User Groups/Conferences, Client 'Get-Togethers,' Events, Partner Training, Advertising, PR, Lead Generation – and the list goes on.  All marketing activities are replicated, as appropriate, in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions to attract global prospects, as the company expands internationally.

Charles Best came on board as BlackLine's first Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in June 2011.  Best's appointment as a Bronze Best in Biz Awards recipient reflects BlackLine's strong financial performance, along with Best's direction implementing multiple technology solutions to automate and improve processes for the fast-growing financial software company.

BlackLine revenues were up by more than 50 percent in both 2010 and 2011 and are on track to grow by at least that pace in 2012.  BlackLine continues to add clients at an aggressive pace with a long list of household name organizations already on board including AT&T, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Whirlpool and Zurich Insurance.  The company has added a number of large internationally based organizations, as well, such as Eurostar International in the United Kingdom, Lafarge SA in France and Coles Supermarkets in Australia.

Best in Biz Awards recognizes top companies, teams, executives and products for their business success.  More than 400 entries were received in this year's awards program, from a wide array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries and regions in the U.S. and Canada.

Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2012 were determined by an independent panel of 32 judges from top-tier news, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms, such as ABC, BusinessWeek, Computerworld, ECT News Network, Entrepreneur, eWeek, Financial Times, Forbes, FOX News, IDG Ventures, IEEE Institute, Inc., Insight Media, King Features Syndicate, Lab Reviews, Network World, The News and Observer, PC Magazine, ReadWriteWeb, Techtalk, Upstart Business Journal, USA Today and ZDNet.
