Seasoned Exec With Strong Franchise, Retail and Consumer Experience Tapped To Helm Iconic Brand's Worldwide Marketing Efforts

DALLAS, Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gold's Gym, the world's leading authority on health and fitness, today announced the addition of Michael Cobb as Chief Marketing Officer. In addition to leading the iconic brand's marketing efforts, Cobb will be responsible for key growth areas like corporate wellness and business development.

Bringing with him more than 10 years of senior experience activating national consumer brands such as KFC, Pepsi, Frito-Lay and Pizza Hut, among others, Cobb will spearhead all national marketing efforts for Gold's Gym. Cobb is an energetic leader with proven track record of business transformation, growth and innovation.
