Hurricane Electric Announces Final Carrier Event of 2012 to Be Held Today at Fremont 2 Data Center

Event's Cloud-Computing Discussion Will Feature Contributions From Members of Silicon Valley Web Builder (SVWB)

FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/12 -- Hurricane Electric, the world's largest IPv6-native Internet backbone and leading colocation provider, today announced that it will be hosting its final carrier networking event of the year at its Fremont 2 facility tonight at 6:00 p.m.

The event will allow Hurricane Electric's customers to discuss bandwidth needs and telecommunications trends with carriers at the data center. Carriers confirmed for the evening include:

  • Comcast
  • CenturyLink
  • Level3
  • XO Communications
  • Zayo

Participants will also have the opportunity to join members of Silicon Valley Web Builder in a discussion, led by MongoLab's Ben Wen, of the latest data manipulation and representation technologies for mobile and cloud-based software solutions.

Engineers from Hurricane Electric will be present to discuss Hurricane's expansion plans and answer any questions about its network and data centers. Representatives from equipment manufacturers like Lopoco and SuperMicro will also be available for questions.
