Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator V3 Debuts with New Licensing Options

Latest version extends Flexiant's support for the service provider, traditional hosters and telecommunication companies with a cloud orchestration solution that is reliable and mature at a compelling price point with an upgrade path to advance functionality

London, UK - 28 November 2012 - Flexiant today reinforces its focus on the service provider market and launches its support for traditional hosters and telecommunication companies with the release of four new cloud management software editions. This gives companies of all sizes access to Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator V3, a cloud orchestration software solution that is reliable and mature, at a compelling price point. It offers traditional hosting companies an alternative orchestration solution that works while providing an upgrade path to advanced functionality currently experienced in the service provider market.

The new licensing models include four versions tailored to the hosting and service provider market. These include: Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator Hosting Edition, Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator Service Provider Edition, Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator Hosting Advanced and Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator Service Provider Advanced. The four editions address both the different functional requirements and price points for each of these markets.

George Knox, CEO, Flexiant said, "Introducing four new versions of our software supports the tremendous growth we are witnessing in the service provider market. Traditional hosters, service providers and telecommunications companies need a flexible and agile cloud orchestration solution with the ability to scale and flex to meet the changing needs of evolving markets with differentiated products. They need to do all this without changing the core underlying technology investments. We offer them this option."

"We have made a commitment to support every organisation that wants to launch and grow a cloud services business ensuing that companies operating at various levels with the desire to extend their market reach through multi-level reseller channels are fully supported. Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator V3 is the only software solution needed to increase efficiency and margin through advanced data centre automation while increasing revenue by commercialising the cloud," continued Knox.

Selected by Cartika, a leader in application hosting and advanced clustering technologies, Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator V3 will provide the cloud orchestration solution it requires internally and to meet its customers' expectations of a more automated and flexible solution. Andrew Rouchotas, CEO, Cartika, explained, "We knew we needed a cloud provisioning platform that would enable us to provide enterprise grade solutions, help us differentiate against other service providers and that would also support both our current and future business strategies. We discussed internal development, but the time to market was prohibitive. After looking at several vendors, it became obvious that Flexiant was clearly a more mature and stable software solution than anything else available. Flexiant's product is head and shoulders above the alternatives. We were impressed with its robustness and ease of deployment and also the service delivery team's ability to meet our bespoke needs."

Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator Hosting Edition and Hosting Advance at last offers the hosting industry an alternative to OnApp, with compelling entry level pricing and a roadmap to advanced functionality as required.

"The entire range of cloud service businesses and new entrants to the cloud services market are now fully supported by Flexiant to get the job done better by being more efficient and effective. Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator is the only software needed to create a cloud services business that customers love."

Recently, Flexiant was named by Info-Tech Research Group as a Cloud Management Trendsetter in "Vendor Landscape: Cloud Management Solutions". Rated by the research group as the leading innovator in a detailed comparison of vendors offering cloud management software solutions, Flexiant was recognised as a great choice for service providers.
