Thunderhead.com bolsters the ONE Engagement platform with launch of ONE for Capital Markets

ONE for Capital Markets SaaS solution launches with the support of leading G15 investment banks.

LONDON - Nov 28, 2012 - Thunderhead.com, a leading provider of enterprise solutions for customer experience management - and the industry standard for automating trade documentation for Capital Markets - today announced the launch of its ONE for Capital Markets solution for the cloud.

The cloud solution automates trade and relationship documentation processing and all paper transactions throughout the entire trading lifecycle, across all asset classes and product types, to bolster business performance through enhanced compliance, greater control and reduced costs.

Used by 14 of the G15 investment banks and major energy companies, the leading-edge functionality that has made Thunderhead.com the industry standard is now available as a Software-as-a-Service to the broader trading sector, and provides a path to cloud for existing on-premise customers. Truly leveraging the cloud, the solution provides real-time collaboration capabilities to support secure multi-party negotiation based on a single source of the truth, eliminating the time-consuming and error-prone sequential circulation of documents.

In addition, the solution allows trade data in industry-schema based XML to be fed to downstream processes, enabling rapid integration and regulatory reporting.

The SaaS solution has been developed with advisory support from a group of representatives from the G15 investment banks as well as Sapient Capital Markets to ensure market compliance in line with CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) and ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority) rules.

The ONE for Capital Markets solution is built on the ONE Enterprise engagement platform, a suite of solutions that enables businesses to engage and collaborate, which launched in San Francisco in September. A fundamental tenet of the ONE platform is its focus on business usability and visual design, for which the Thunderhead.com brand is renowned.

Glen Manchester, CEO, Thunderhead.com said: "We are rolling ONE out across industry sectors, to help our customers meet specific industry challenges. The quality and innovation of our solutions for Capital Markets have made us the industry standard for the global Investment Banking community. With our ONE cloud platform we are able to deliver even richer functionality to the wider trading community."

Kevin Thorogood, Global Head of Capital Markets for Thunderhead.com added:
"What is really exciting is that, with our cloud technology, we are creating a real-time community collaboration platform to streamline the negotiation of contracts and agreements, helping our clients meet the new regulatory requirements for execution and reporting times."

Jude Bly, Director, Sapient Global Markets said: "Financial and energy market participants are in the midst of a challenging and changing time. Complying with increased regulatory requirements has to be balanced with budget constraints while still meeting operational control and business objectives. This is particularly true in relation to the pre and post trade documentation, which is inherently manual and lacks control."

"Thunderhead.com has historically helped the industry leaders solve issues around paper-based transactions. Now, with the introduction of ONE for Capital Markets SaaS solution, the industry as a whole has a tremendous opportunity to dramatically streamline their business processes to meet the new regulations and improve their operational efficiency."

ONE for Capital Markets represents the next stage in Thunderhead.com's journey towards cementing its place as a leader in the enterprise SaaS space.
