High Street Partners Strengthens Its Advisory Services Practice to Meet Rising Demand

ANNAPOLIS, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 12/06/12 -- High Street Partners, Inc. (HSP) is pleased to announce that three senior executives have joined the company. John O'Connor has been named to its Board of Directors, Bill Thomas has joined the HSP Advisory Board, and as Senior Director, William Kirwan will head up two newly formed Advisory Services practice areas. All three have extensive track records of success, including senior leadership positions at Big Four accounting firms.

Concurrently, HSP is reorganizing its Advisory Services into four practice areas, as it expands upon its world class competency in providing pragmatic guidance supporting its clients' international business operations. Expert advice and practical solutions will be provided in the areas of HR Services, Global Mobility Solutions, Tax, Accounting & Governance Services, and Legal Related Services.

John O'Connor - In his 33-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), John served most recently as Vice Chairman for the firm and prior to that as Managing Partner of the Boston office. With his deep experience in the professional accounting services industry, John plays an instrumental role in strengthening HSP's affiliations in this area.

Bill Thomas - Bill brings with him over 20 years of global payroll, human resources, and consulting experience. Most recently, he was a Partner at KPMG leading the build out of KPMG's Shared Services and Advisory Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and was previously President, Multinational HR Services with Ceridian. Bill's expertise is critical to HSP's global payroll and HR expansion initiatives.

William Kirwan - Bill is a 20-year veteran in the provision of international tax advisory services, focusing primarily on expatriate and cross-border employment issues. With HSP, he will lead its Global Mobility Solutions and its Tax, Accounting & Governance Services practice areas. Most recently, he was a Global Lead Partner at PwC in the United Kingdom.
