RedSky Joins the Cisco Developer Network as Registered Developer and Completes Cisco Interoperability Verification Testing

CHICAGO, Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RedSky Technologies, the leader in E911 solutions, announced that it has joined the Cisco Developer Network as a Registered Developer within the Collaboration technology category. In addition, RedSky's E911 Anywhere® has successfully completed interoperability testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Cisco Emergency Responder. 

E911 Anywhere® is a cloud-based service that integrates seamlessly with Cisco Emergency Responder to capture location updates in real time and validate them against the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG). E911 Anywhere® also receives 9-1-1 calls from Cisco Unified Communications Manager and routes the emergency call and the location information of the caller to any emergency dispatcher or public safety answering point (PSAP) in the United States and Canada. No additional hardware is required.

The Cisco Developer Network unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers, harnessing the power and intelligence of the network. As a Registered Developer, RedSky offers a complementary product offering and has started to collaborate with Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers.
