Les entreprises risquent de perdre des clients en cas de stratégie Web mobile limitée

Le rapport de mesures trimestriel de Netbiscuits révèle que si les entreprises réalisent des conceptions pour les 10 appareils mobiles les plus utilisés, elles ne couvrent que 56 % des parts de trafic mondial

Netbiscuits, leader global en solutions logicielles pour le développement Web adaptatif, a révélé aujourd'hui que certaines entreprises offrent des expériences Web peu satisfaisantes à leurs clients et les perdent au profit de la concurrence si elles n'établissent pas de stratégies mobiles qui tiennent compte des nouveaux modes d'accès au Web et des nombreux appareils utilisés à cette fin. Les habitudes des utilisateurs de Web mobile sont en pleine évolution et l'accès aux sites Web s'effectue via des appareils qui sont rarement pris en compte dans les stratégies mobiles d'entreprise. Dans 7 des 8 marchés régionaux étudiés, la majorité du trafic Web provient des téléphones portables et non des tablettes. C'est une donnée critique pour les stratégies mobiles d'entreprise qui tendent à faire en sorte que leurs sites PC fonctionnent sur les tablettes, ce qui est en soi une stratégie limitée, car elle ignore les fonctionnalités comme les écrans tactiles et le GPS.

Le déclin de l'utilisation des appareils Blackberry a mené des entreprises à négliger l'optimisation de leur expérience Web pour ces appareils. Le rapport de mesures révèle cependant que malgré ce déclin, on compte tout de même six appareils Blackberry parmi les 25 appareils les plus utilisés dans les parts de trafic global, avec le Blackberry 8520 en cinquième place.

« Si les entreprises ne tiennent pas compte des nouvelles tendances en matière d'accès au Web, elles risquent d'offrir à la majorité de leurs clients une expérience lente, limitée, voire inexistante et finir par perdre ces clients au profit de concurrents proposant une expérience de meilleure qualité », commente Daniel Weisbeck, directeur marketing, Netbiscuits. « Les entreprises doivent s'assurer que leurs apps ou leur site s'adaptent pour une expérience Web supérieure et sur mesure sur tous les appareils, navigateurs et fonctionnalités si elles veulent augmenter leurs chances d'attirer et de retenir leurs clients dans une économie très concurrentielle. C'est là que la conception adaptée ne suffit pas, car elle ne permet pas aux entreprises d'adapter l'expérience grâce à une conversion d'image plus rapide, par exemple pour les fonctionnalités GPS et tactiles ».

Le rapport de mesures révèle également les catégories d'appareils les plus utilisés au sein du trafic Web global. L'iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S est en tête de liste avec 31 % du trafic global, suivi du Samsung GT-I9100 (Galaxy S2, Galaxy Z) avec 6 % du trafic, puis du Samsung GT-I9300 en troisième place avec 4 %.
