The NETGEAR VueZone Night Vision Camera is a two-part system: a powerful AC-powered infrared lamp along with the only wire-free infrared camera in the market. The inclusion of a separate infrared lamp with the NETGEAR VueZone Night Vision Camera provides multiple options for illuminating scenes in low light and darkness, while the camera's wire-free feature means that you can easily place the camera anywhere within range of the base station without the hassle of unsightly power cords. You can even place the lamp and the camera in different locations as long as both are pointing at the same subject. The camera is suitable for both daytime and nighttime use and can be set to automatically detect motion, record an event and send an alert. You can play back your recorded videos from anywhere on Apple iOS or Google Android smartphones and tablets, or on PCs or Mac computers.

"As consumers become more connected in all aspects of their lives, they are recognizing the numerous advantages of home monitoring devices," said Erich Volkert, senior director of VueZone product management at NETGEAR. "Our customers asked to see in the dark and we responded by adding a night vision camera that is easy to install and use. The VueZone Night Vision Camera is the first of many new exciting, innovative and helpful products that NETGEAR will deliver to help you monitor the people and things you care about most."

The NETGEAR VueZone Night Vision Camera Home Monitoring system offers many desirable features:

  • The industry's only completely wire-free night vision camera
  • Easy one-click installation in 10 minutes or less with no tools required
  • Motion detection senses people up to 15 feet from the camera and sends an email alert
