LOC Enterprises teams up with Conductiv to expand the universal loyalty card's network

Alliance makes it easier for consumers to join loyalty programs and for merchants to create and operate them

CINCINNATI, Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- LOC Enterprises -- the developer of the LOC Card, the first truly universal loyalty card -- and Conductiv Software -- a leading and innovative developer of cloud-based software for the retail industry, including the fast-growing area of mobile point-of-sale (POS) systems -- have entered into an integration alliance where Conductiv will integrate acceptance of the LOC Card into Conducitv's MPOS+ solution.

The LOC Card eliminates the need for consumers to carry multiple loyalty cards to receive merchant rewards and benefits. Instead, LOC Enterprises has developed a single smart phone app/wallet card/key fob that can be used with any merchant loyalty programs -- something consumers have been demanding for years.

Conductiv announced that the LOC Card Solution will be available in Q1-2013 as part of the company's MPOS+ Cloud Based Application Suite, the first true out-of-the-box mobile product that provides retailers with mobile sales, CRM, inventory, promotions, and payment solutions.

"Only five weeks after introducing the LOC Card to the retail industry, we are excited that Conductiv, a visionary company and industry leader in the field of mobile retailing, has recognized the value of our product," said Jack Kennamer, CEO of LOC Enterprises.

"This integration with Conductiv means that the company's MPOS+ solution is 'LOC ready' and the only thing that merchants across the world who use this software will have to decide is whether or not to accept the LOC Card at their establishments," Kennamer said.

The other advantage of the Conductiv-LOC Card integration is that it makes it easier for retailers to create and operate customer loyalty programs, which levels the playing field for all merchants, no matter their size.

"The integration of the LOC Card Solution into Mobile POS+ streamlines the customer engagement process and provides merchants with a simple enrollment vehicle for their loyalty/rewards programs," Kennamer said. "The key to a successful loyalty program starts with customer enrollment and the LOC Card definitely simplifies that process."

When the LOC Card is activated, a scan of a smart phone or one swipe of the card or fob through any participating merchant's POS system automatically enrolls the consumer into the merchant's loyalty program – no applications, no forms, no hassle.

More and more shoppers are expecting personalized service inside brick-and-mortar retail outlets that match or exceed their experiences on top eCommerce sites.  By teaming with LOC, Conductiv's integrated solution combines the best loyalty solution available today with the most comprehensive Mobile Retail Application Suite, giving savvy retailers a competitive edge.

"Retailers of all sizes can now build lasting relationships with customers, increasing customer loyalty  and converting show-rooming into sales with our personalized endless aisle technology," said Rob Loughan, CEO of Conductiv Software. "Knowing your customer is no longer a nice-to-have, it is now a must-have in today's ever changing retail environment."

Many consumers today refuse to enroll in customer loyalty programs because of privacy concerns, cumbersome enrollment processes, and no room to carry additional cards. The LOC Card addresses all three of these concerns with an easy-to-use product, Kennamer said.
