Sagemcom kündigt neues Home Gateway mit integriertem LTE-Modem an

Sagemcom, der europäische Marktführer bei Home-Media-Gateways, stellt auf der CES-Messe 2013 in Las Vegas das neue [email protected] 3965 Air Home Gateway mit integriertem LTE-Modem vor.

Nach zahlreichen Anwendungen, die auf 2G- und 3G-Technologien basieren, kündigt Sagemcom nun die neue mobile Generation der LTE Home Gateways an. Mit dieser neuen Produktgeneration können Netzbetreiber über ihr mobiles LTE-Netzwerk Triple-Play Breitbanddienste (Daten, Telefonie und TV) für Privatanwender anbieten.

Auf der Grundlage des Know-hows und Fachwissens von Sagemcom in Sachen Breitbandterminals wurde mit dem [email protected] 3965 Air ein Home-Gateway mit hohem Mehrwert entwickelt, das alle Breitbanddienste für Privatanwender bietet. Durch die große Auswahl von Schnittstellen wie Wi-Fi 802.11n Dual-Band 2,4 und 5 GHz, USB-Anschlüssen oder digitalem Gigabit-Ethernetrouting können alle zuhause genutzten Geräte angeschlossen werden. Durch die bewährte Software kann das [email protected] 3965 Air über TR069 aus der Distanz oder vor Ort über eine Web-Schnittstelle verwaltet werden. Sowohl die Unterstützung von DLNA als auch die Möglichkeit einer Speicherung in der Cloud machen dieses Gerät zu einem zentralen Multimedia-Server für Zuhause.

Mit dem [email protected] 3965 Air ist über LTE eine Geschwindigkeit bis 100 Mbit/s möglich (oder 42 Mbit/s bei 3G, falls kein LTE-Netz verfügbar ist). Es stehen zwei Varianten zur Verfügung, um alle Frequenzbereiche abzudecken und den Bedürfnissen von Betreibern aus aller Welt gerecht zu werden.
