ACTIVE Network Announces Strategic Alliance with Run Ireland

The ACTIVE Network, Inc. (NYSE: ACTV), the leader in cloud-based Activity and Participant Management™ (APM), today announced a strategic alliance with Run Ireland, the largest website for running events in Ireland. As the official technology partner, ACTIVE Network will handle the online registration for events listed on Run Ireland’s site to make finding and signing up for endurance events online even easier.

In 2012, participation in races managed by Run Ireland increased 33% over the previous year. Looking to continue this momentum into the new year, more than 350 races previously with Run Ireland will also move to ACTIVE’s technology.
