Weidenhammer Merges With 4O1! Creative

READING, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/13 -- Weidenhammer, a leading provider of IT services, announced today that they reached an agreement to merge with 4O1! Creative, Ltd., a leading creative, digital and new media services organization, located in Allentown, PA.

This partnership positions Weidenhammer as the area's premier source for Web/print design and creative development. "Based on emerging client requirements and the need to offer new media capabilities, Weidenhammer has been seeking a strategic partner in the areas of Web design, Web development, original photography and video, print and graphic design, copywriting and social media," stated John Weidenhammer, President. "Weidenhammer has frequently looked to external resources for some of these capabilities in the past. Additionally, Weidenhammer clients are increasingly seeking complete design and development services from a single, integrated source. With all of this in mind, Weidenhammer has found the right strategic merger partner in 4O1! Creative, Ltd. Adding their extensive capabilities to the already deep skills of Weidenhammer creates a much enhanced and synergistic breadth of skills which should prove very appealing to our mutual clients."

While 4O1! Creative has steadily grown since its inception eight years ago, they are even more thrilled about what this partnership will mean to their future. "In few areas is the expression, 'where form meets function' as relevant as it is in the world of Web-based technology and communication solutions," remarked Brian Wcislo, Co-founder, 4O1! "This phrase is the essence of the merger of 4O1! and Weidenhammer."

"After eight years of steadily growing and grooming our creative team, processes and business practices, 4O1! is excited to adopt the core infrastructure and business systems of Weidenhammer, who has been perfecting its methods for 35 years," said Wcislo. "This aspect of the merger alone will greatly increase the quantity of work we can produce by allowing us to free up our management team from the daily minutia of running a business and allowing us to focus on what we do best, strategize, design and develop branding, marketing and sales tools for our clients."

"With access to greater financial resources, 4O1! will also be looking to add fresh talent to our creative team, upgrade our equipment and move into a new facility in the near future. These are just a few of the benefits that our clients will experience over the next several months," said Wcislo. "Additionally we will also take advantage of more robust technology solutions through the other divisions of Weidenhammer, including but not limited to eCommerce, software development, custom applications, and cloud computing services."
