KWI Continues Year-over-Year Double-Digit-Growth in 2012

KWI, the industry leading Cloud-based retail solutions provider, has continued to maintain double digit growth over the past 25+ years of delivering Retail Solutions and Services in the Cloud. In 2012, the technology innovation and business growth continued at a record pace.

In early 2012, KWI announced a partnership with VeriFone Global Bay combining their Mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS) Suite with KWI’s advanced mobile applications, and launched Cloud 9 Mobile POS. Cloud 9 Mobile POS is architected to work seamlessly with any Point of Sale Software System and its innovative design results in a faster speed-to-market for retailers.

KWI added new customers in 2012 for their retail enterprise solution, and those clients include retailers and brands, RUUM, Warby Parker, John Varvatos, Schutz, NBC, Civilianaire, Moods of Norway, Cycling Sports, and Vanilla Sky.

“We chose KWI three times over the last decade as our Retail System Partner”, says George Santacroce, CEO of Moods of Norway International --twice in the U.S. and once in India, where we launched a high end retail concept. KWI has consistently been at the leading edge of providing Retailers with best of class solutions and delivering Cloud Based Solutions and a global system for our expansion into other countries. Their systems are developed with direct input from clients and we benefit from the breadth of far greater capabilities than most retailers would use.” Santacroce went on to say that, the new Mobile POS technology adds the ability to build efficiencies and lower costs in their retail operations.

“KWI began offering SaaS solutions 25+ years ago, and we continue to leverage those developments to deliver additional value to our retail customers”, says Sam Kliger, CEO and Founder of KWI. “Today, the Cloud is a strategy for retailers and we have the proven technology, infrastructure, and advanced solutions to scale with any retail organization looking for a secure Cloud offering. This is the future of retail with a proven low cost of entry and ease of upstart and KWI has the advantage of starting early in this space in 1985 and has kept pace with the advancements in technology to become a true cloud based offering today.”

“Technical innovation and breadth of experience were important factors in our search for a retail systems partner” said Lee Goldenberg, CIO at John Varvatos. “KWI exceeded our expectations as we talked with their existing customers about product delivery and on-going support. KWI has been delivering Cloud–based retail solutions longer than any other provider and that experience was important to John Varvatos”, continued Goldenberg. “KWI’s Cloud 9 Mobile POS is another example, were looking for a mobile solution to improve our in-store shopping experience, and we were very impressed with the results of Cloud 9 Mobile deployment.”

Retailers today are focused on the customer experience, omni-channel deployment and are faced with legacy systems requiring large integration efforts to deploy these strategies. KWI has been delivering an enterprise omni-channel retail solution in the forefront of the Cloud technology for over 25 years and have grown with their customers through innovation; advancements in technology and partnering with best in class value add solutions.

KWI will be exhibiting its Cloud based enterprise Omni-Channel Retail Solutions and Cloud 9 Mobile POS solution at the 2012 NRF Big Show EXPO in booth 1735, January 14-15 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
