ThoughtWorks Announces Presence at NRF’s Retail Big Show 2013

14th January 2013, NYC - ThoughtWorks, the custom software experts, has announced that four flagship customers will join the Company at NRF's Retail Big Show 2013 - taking place in New York City on January 13-16, 2013. Global customers including Gap Inc., Morrisons, JD Sports, and Gruppo Pam will join ThoughtWorks at the event, which offers attendees unique networking opportunities and exclusive access to innovative technologies and solutions. ThoughtWorks will be located on Exhibitor Level 1 at booth C506.

The retail industry is in the midst of unprecedented change. Evolving customer expectations and buying behavior; the ability to personalize interactions; and the power of mobile are just a few of the forces that are redefining the industry and changing the status quo. ThoughtWorks, continuing in its tradition of supporting and enabling rapid change adoption, is making significant investments in these areas as it works with retailers to enable strategies for today's competitive market.

The conference will offer retailers the opportunity to attend onsite sessions and discussions, where they can speak openly with other retail executives as well as ThoughtWorks principals. Discussions will explore various aspects of the retail industry, including strategies around multichannel retailing; stores to cloud; and engaging customers via mobile and tablet devices.
