Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: DLR), le leader mondial de solutions de data centres a conclu un accord portant sur l'acquisition des bâtiments de trois data centres de Bouygues Telecom situés en région parisienne. Troisième opérateur de télécommunications en France, Bouygues Telecom fournit des services de communication fixes et mobiles et de l'internet aux particuliers et aux entreprises. L'opérateur propose également des prestations cloud computing aux entreprises. Le prix d'achat du portefeuille s'élève à 60 millions d'euros.
Dans le cadre de cette transaction de sale & leaseback, Bouygues Telecom a signé un bail commercial de type triple net avec Digital Realty. Le portefeuille est constitué de trois data centres de niveau « Tier III » situés à Montigny-le-Bretonneux, ainsi que Bièvres et Saclay. Ces trois sites totalisent une surface d'environ 8700 mètres carrés et une puissance électrique de 5 megawatts. Cette transaction porte uniquement sur les actifs immobiliers de Bouygues Telecom qui continuera à exploiter les sites et reste propriétaire des serveurs informatiques qui représentent des actifs stratégiques pour l'entreprise.
