Webroot Appoints Charles Tomeo Vice President of Worldwide Channels

Security IT Veteran to Bolster Development of Business Segment to Meet Growing Demand for Security Intelligence Solutions

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Webroot, a leader in delivering Internet security as a service, today announced the appointment of Charles Tomeo as vice president of worldwide channels and technical sales. Tomeo will now be responsible for driving strategy and execution for worldwide channels for the Business segment in addition to maintaining his current role of managing the worldwide systems engineering team, training and services across the business, consumer and strategic alliance market segments.

With almost 20 years of security experience, including almost eight at Webroot, Tomeo brings to the role excellent knowledge of the endpoint and web marketplace, including proven success to engage partners and end-customers, across the globe, throughout their lifecycles from pre-sale to post-sale.  Previously, Tomeo served as Senior Director of WW Systems Engineer, Professional Services, and Training at Webroot.
