WISeKey Launches the WISeID Cyber-Resilience Special Edition App during the Davos Swiss Night at the WEF 2013

DAVOS, Switzerland, January 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

WISeKey will be launching the WISeID Cyber-Resilience edition for iOS at Davos to help Internet users strengthen the security and reliability of their mobile communications and transactions. The WISeID Cyber-Resilience edition can create an accountable identity from its personal data organizer, which securely stores personal data such as account username and passwords, credit card numbers and access PINs in a secure vault and cloud.

WISeID can enhance the legitimacy of what we do and say online by providing accountable identities and protection from identity theft by safely managing passwords and social credentials in its encrypted vault.

The vault can be unlocked only by using the user's Master Password and/or defined pattern, with additional face recognition authentication protection. WISeID conveniently keeps passwords in one place, generates hard-to-crack ones, and safely synchs data between computers and devices on multiple platforms using secure cloud storage. With simple one-click website access, WISeID is a great choice for extra personal security.

When it comes to the extra minute or two added security measures will take, WISeKey advises it's not a lot to spend when you consider the value of personal information. Complex passwords, encryption and using a password manager may seem like overkill, but in the world of data security, there is no such thing as too secure.

WISeID Cyber-Resilience edition is available now on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac OSX, Windows and Kindle, http://www.wiseid.com

WISeKey, one of the signatories of the World Economic Forum's Partnering for Cyber Resilience, a global, multi-industry, multistakeholder initiative to improve cyber resilience, raise business standards and to contribute to a safer and stronger connected society.

The challenges of aggregating data from consumer-oriented devices, such as wearable technologies and smart thermostats, are fairly well-understood. However, there are a new set of challenges for IoT devices that generate megabytes or gigabytes of data per second. Certainly, the infrastructure will have to change, as those volumes of data will likely overwhelm the available bandwidth for aggregating the data into a central repository. Ochandarena discusses a whole new way to think about your next-gen applications and how to address the challenges of building applications that harness all data types and sources.

Extreme Computing is the ability to leverage highly performant infrastructure and software to accelerate Big Data, machine learning, HPC, and Enterprise applications. High IOPS Storage, low-latency networks, in-memory databases, GPUs and other parallel accelerators are being used to achieve faster results and help businesses make better decisions. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Michael O'Neill, Strategic Business Development at NVIDIA, focused on some of the unique ways extreme computing is being used on IBM Cloud, Amazon, and Microsoft Azure and how to gain access to these resources in the cloud... for FREE!
CI/CD is conceptually straightforward, yet often technically intricate to implement since it requires time and opportunities to develop intimate understanding on not only DevOps processes and operations, but likely product integrations with multiple platforms. This session intends to bridge the gap by offering an intense learning experience while witnessing the processes and operations to build from zero to a simple, yet functional CI/CD pipeline integrated with Jenkins, Github, Docker and Azure.
"We do one of the best file systems in the world. We learned how to deal with Big Data many years ago and we implemented this knowledge into our software," explained Jakub Ratajczak, Business Development Manager at MooseFS, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at 20th Cloud Expo, held June 6-8, 2017, at the Javits Center in New York City, NY.
