Inventages (un fonds d'investissement mondial dans le domaine de la santé soutenu par Nestlé) a annoncé aujourd'hui sa collaboration avec SAP AG en vue d'intégrer une approche globale de la gestion des maladies, basée sur les mécanismes, dans les cadres informatiques de pointe, en vue de développer la prochaine génération d'entreprises de médecine personnalisée.
La médecine personnalisée utilise des informations génétiques et non génétiques, telles que les facteurs environnementaux, pour personnaliser la prévention, le diagnostic et le traitement des maladies. Jusqu'ici, cependant, ces solutions étaient souvent fragmentées et incomplètes, ne portant que sur un sous-ensemble de facteurs influents. Les solutions de médecine personnalisée de demain seront holistiques ; intégrant les informations génomiques d'un patient, ses antécédents médicaux et des facteurs environnementaux et liés à son mode de vie.
