GlassHouse Appoints SVP of Worldwide Service Delivery

Experienced Technology Executive Joins IT Consulting and Managed Services Leader to Streamline Global Service Delivery

February 6, 2013 - GlassHouse Technologies, a global provider of vendor independent IT infrastructure consulting and managed services, today announced the appointment of Robert Bongi as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Service Delivery. In this role, Robert will be responsible for managing and orchestrating the delivery of GlassHouse's services across all of the company's consulting and managed services divisions.

"Robert's appointment to this new role demonstrates GlassHouse's commitment to superior customer service to our clients and prospects across all of our business units," said Patrick Scannell, President and CEO, GlassHouse. "With the increasing complexity of IT initiatives and the need for IT to become more of a business services provider, GlassHouse delivers customer solutions for data centre, security, cloud and workspace consulting and managed services. Robert brings extensive and practical experience in worldwide service delivery, and his leadership will enable GlassHouse to continue to deliver outstanding customer experiences."

Before joining GlassHouse, Robert was Vice President at Pomeroy, a technology infrastructure optimisation firm, where he led and directed service delivery and business development across a customer base of Fortune 1000 companies. Previously, he was Managing Director at Symphony Services, now Symphony Teleca, for their engineering and professional services consulting business unit. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at Cognizant in their High Technology business unit, Vice President at Siemens where he oversaw strategic global engagements across multiple industry verticals, and had multiple leadership roles at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in the US and in Europe, where he led and directed consulting and service delivery for many global customers including General Motors, Opel, Vauxhall and Xerox.

Robert Bongi's appointment is the latest GlassHouse investment in a strengthened executive leadership team and follows the company's 2012 additions of a new SVP of Global Sales and CFO. This leadership team is driving the company's growth and focus to provide customer solutions for its data centre, security, cloud and workspace consulting and managed service offerings.
