SilverSun Reports That Rapid Growth Is on Tap for Its Proprietary Craft Brewery Business Management Solutions

LIVINGSTON, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 02/07/13 -- SilverSun Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: SSNT) (OTCQB: SSNT), a preferred source for best-of-breed business management applications and professional consulting services, today announced that its proprietary series of cloud-based business management solutions created specifically for the U.S. craft brewery and distribution industry, sales have been steadily climbing.

Currently, implementations of BeerRun, BrewPub, BrewX ERP (powered by Sage ERP X3) and the Distributor Relationship Management System -- Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions jointly developed by SilverSun and its principal operating subsidiary SWK Technologies, Inc. -- have been sold to 18 craft breweries throughout the country. These innovative solutions provide brewmasters with a single, turnkey database batch/process solution capable of managing their manufacturing operations -- from forecasting and planning to recipe management to inventory control and traceability, among other critical business functions, including automated TTB reporting.

"Because we took the time to learn and understand the complex business intricacies of the craft beer brewing industry and customized effective solutions capable of supporting their business systems and processes, it is no surprise to us that sales have been gaining momentum as word of our solutions reach this underserved market," stated Mark Meller, Chairman, CEO and President of SilverSun. "With a goal of becoming the definitive business management solutions provider to the U.S. craft brewing and distribution industry, we are very pleased with our initial market penetration efforts and look forward to building on this success to fuel accelerated sales growth as we move forward."

According to the trade group Brewers Association, there were 1,940 craft breweries operating for some or all of 2011, comprised of 1,063 brewpubs, 789 microbreweries and 88 regional craft breweries. Further, craft brewer retail dollar volume was an estimated $8.7 billion in 2011, representing nearly 11.5 million barrels of beer sold.
