Batterii Closes $2.5M Seed Round

Creative Collaboration Software Firm Also Launching New Features

CINCINNATI OH -- (Marketwire) -- 02/08/13 -- Batterii, a Cincinnati-based enterprise SaaS innovation software platform, has closed a $2.5 million seed-stage funding round.

CincyTech led the round with $500,000. Other key investors include Batterii CEO Kevin C. Cummins, Los Angeles-based investor Ken Salkin, and undisclosed individuals.

Batterii is an enterprise social network used by companies to engage the creative potential of their employees, partners and customers to build new ideas, identify new products, drive process improvement and increase top-line revenue. It has acquired nearly a dozen customers so far, ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to interactive agencies, including the global marketing agency Octagon.

Cummins said that by enhancing and extending the creative process, the Batterii platform engages its clients' employees and customers to build the best solutions together.
