Speexx announced Platinum Winner of European Seal of e-Excellence 2013

International body celebrates Speexx's continued success as an outstanding and innovative online training solution

Munich - Monday, 11th February 2013 - Speexx, the leading global provider of online corporate communication skills training, has been awarded with its fourth Seal of e-Excellence in a row. Speexx was selected for the highest category (Platinum) and will be honoured with the prestigious Seal at the forthcoming CeBIT conference in Hanover, Germany.

The European Seal of e-Excellence recognises outstanding technological achievements of information and communication technology (ICT) and digital media companies. Awarded annually since 2003 by EMF, the Forum of e-Excellence, the Seal represents public recognition for winners that have delivered an innovative product to meet current business needs. There are three levels of distinctions for the Seal: Platinum, Gold and Silver.

Between April and December 2012, more than 100 global organisations sent in applications for the prestigious European Seal of e-Excellence 2013 by presenting recent innovations and developments in their products and services. The judging panel consisted of experienced investors, entrepreneurs and experts in the ICT sector, who selected the top 31 applicants for a 2013 Platinum, Gold or Silver Seal. For the fourth year in a row, Speexx was awarded with a Seal, this time coming among the top four organisations chosen for the Platinum category.

Armin Hopp, Founder and President of Speexx, comments: "Once again, it is a great honour for Speexx to be selected for the European Seal of e-Excellence 2013 Award - and particularly for a Platinum Seal. As a provider of innovative cloud-based language learning solutions, this distinction shows that Speexx continues to fulfil the highest qualitative and educational standards. Speexx offers the 'Perfect Blend' - the ideal combination of self-paced online language learning tools and high-quality communication skills training by native speakers. The Seal of e-Excellence Award is yet another testimony to our success and we are extremely proud of this accolade."

The official award ceremony will be held as part of the CeBIT, the world's largest and most international IT trade fair in Hanover, Germany on 5th March 2013.

Cloud-Native thinking and Serverless Computing are now the norm in financial services, manufacturing, telco, healthcare, transportation, energy, media, entertainment, retail and other consumer industries, as well as the public sector. The widespread success of cloud computing is driving the DevOps revolution in enterprise IT. Now as never before, development teams must communicate and collaborate in a dynamic, 24/7/365 environment. There is no time to wait for long development cycles that produce software that is obsolete at launch. DevOps may be disruptive, but it is essential. DevOpsSUMMIT at CloudEXPO expands the DevOps community, enable a wide sharing of knowledge, and educate delegates and technology providers alike.
"Calligo is a cloud service provider with data privacy at the heart of what we do. We are a typical Infrastructure as a Service cloud provider but it's been designed around data privacy," explained Julian Box, CEO and co-founder of Calligo, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at 21st Cloud Expo, held Oct 31 – Nov 2, 2017, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.
In very short order, the term "Blockchain" has lost an incredible amount of meaning. With too many jumping on the bandwagon, the market is inundated with projects and use cases that miss the real potential of the technology. We have to begin removing Blockchain from the conversation and ground ourselves in the motivating principles of the technology itself; whether it is consumer privacy, data ownership, trust or even participation in the global economy, the world is faced with serious problems that this technology could ultimately help us in at least partially solving. But if we do not unpack what is real and what is not, we can lose sight of the potential. In this presentation, John Bates-who leads data science, machine learning and AI in the Adobe Analytics business unit-will present his 4-prong model of the general areas where Blockchain can have a real impact and the specific use...
Cloud is the motor for innovation and digital transformation. CIOs will run 25% of total application workloads in the cloud by the end of 2018, based on recent Morgan Stanley report. Having the right enterprise cloud strategy in place, often in a multi cloud environment, also helps companies become a more intelligent business. Companies that master this path have something in common: they create a culture of continuous innovation. In his presentation, Dilipkumar Khandelwal outlined the latest research and steps companies can take to make innovation a daily work habit by using enterprise cloud computing. He shared examples from companies that have benefited from enterprise cloud computing and took a look into the future of how the cloud helps companies become a more intelligent business.
