SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Intacct, a leading provider of cloud financial management and accounting software, today announced that Taylor Macdonald, the company's vice president of Channels, has been named to CRN's list of the top channel chiefs for 2013. This prestigious list recognizes executives from the IT industry who are directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organizations, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the industry. The 2013 Channel Chief list, which was compiled by the editors at CRN, appears in the magazine's February 15 issue and is available at http://www.crn.com/channel-chiefs/cc2013.htm.

Macdonald has been a leader in the channel for more than 20 years. Under his leadership, Intacct's channel program has thrived – adding more than 100 new partners in the past year and delivering more than one-third of new bookings in 2012. With 22 of the Top 100 CPA firms, 21 of the Top 100 VARs in the industry, 20 "VAR Stars," and five firms on Accounting Today's list of Technology Pacesetters, Intacct boasts the strongest channel program of any cloud financial vendor.

Intacct's channel partners continue to benefit from Intacct's partner-friendly business model and have seen outstanding results from adding the company's cloud financial management and accounting applications to their portfolios. During the 2012 fiscal year, Intacct's business partners combined to close more than three times as many new customer deals as during the year prior.

"I am honored to be named to this prestigious list for the second straight year," said Taylor Macdonald. "This is strong validation of the hard work put in by the entire Intacct channels team and our world-class partners. We've built a channel program that creates mutually beneficial relationships with partners, delivering a strong sales channel for Intacct and a path to increased success and recurring revenue for our partners. As the growth of cloud-based financial applications continues to increase, interest in Intacct's award-winning applications is at an all-time high and our partners will play an important role in helping to meet this demand."

CRN's Channel Chiefs are selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT Channel Sales.

"The 2013 Channel Chiefs list recognizes vendor executives dedicated to driving channel programs in the IT marketplace," said Kelley Damore, senior vice president and editorial director for CRN. "Our annual Channel Chiefs issue is a must-read for IT solution providers evaluating new vendors or looking to expand solution offerings. These are the people, the products and the programs that any savvy solution provider needs to know. We congratulate this year's Channel Chiefs for their stellar record of business innovation and applaud them for their continued dedication to the partner community."
