Certain and Centium Software Sign Definitive eventsPro® Agreement

BRISBANE, Australia and SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Certain, the leading provider of enterprise event management solutions for the global meetings and events planning industry, and Centium Software, a leading provider of software solutions for the hospitality and world events industries, today announced the signing of a definitive agreement that will transition Certain's world events and eventsPro® desktop application business to Centium.

Effective April 1, 2013, Centium will take over eventsPro technical support, customization services and application hosting services.  Additionally, Centium will further enhance the eventsPro application for existing and new customers with a focus on the world event market. Certain will focus exclusively on its SaaS business and no longer offer eventsPro services after March 31, 2013.

"Over the last year, Certain's SaaS-based Enterprise Event Management Platform has enjoyed tremendous market momentum and customer adoption, resulting in strategic partnerships with some of the world's largest companies and event producers," said Peter Micciche, CEO of Certain. "We are on track to deliver record revenue for our current fiscal year ending February 28, 2013, and have significantly enhanced the functionality of our award-winning platform. In order to maintain focus on our high-growth SaaS business while ensuring that eventsPro customers who wish to continue their use of on-premises and hosted solutions have ongoing access to quality support, we are delighted to announce this agreement with Centium."

Centium's position in the world events market and history with the eventsPro product made it the best possible choice for transitioning this business and its customers. Centium's founder, Trevor Gardiner, is the former CEO of Amlink Technologies, the original developer of eventsPro. Additionally, Certain and Centium have partnered to provide successful solutions for numerous landmark and world events, including the 2012 London Olympic Games and 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Trevor Gardiner, CEO of Centium, added, "I am delighted to welcome eventsPro customers to Centium. We look forward to continuing the high standard of 24/7 customer service and enhancing the eventsPro product. Over the next month, we will be working closely with the Certain team to ensure a smooth and interruption-free transition for customers."
