L’évènement Datacentres Europe de BroadGroup cible la forte demande des entreprises sur le marché

25 février 2013 - Les études menées par BroadGroup (http://www.broad-group.com/) prévoient qu'une forte demande des marchés verticaux stimulera la croissance de la sous-traitance à des centres de données tiers en Europe ; cependant, environ 70 % du marché ne sera toujours pas sous-traité d'ici 2016.

L'évènement Datacentres Europe 2013 (www.datacentreseurope.com) qui se déroulera à Nice les 29 et 30 mai 2013 cible les utilisateurs finaux sur les marchés verticaux ainsi que le centre de données et l'infrastructure informatique qu'ils utilisent, et le processus de transformation qui annonce un environnement informatique flexible.

Toutefois, la société de conseil croit également que cette perspective linéaire du marché disparaîtra en grande partie avec l'évolution de l'environnement informatique. Les recherches de BroadGroup suggèrent que les départements informatiques deviendront des courtiers en « cloud computing », hébergeant des applications dans toute une gamme de centres de données et d'architectures distribuées. Les entreprises pourront bénéficier d'un menu d'options flexible, automatisé et à la demande. Pour les centres de données et les utilisateurs, ce dénouement présente un ensemble entièrement nouveau de défis et d'opportunités.

« Le contenu de cette année permettra de façonner la réflexion de l'industrie au cours de l'année à venir sur la manière de galvaniser l'infrastructure informatique afin de répondre aux futures exigences informatiques des utilisateurs finaux sur les marchés verticaux », a déclaré Steve Wallage, directeur général de BroadGroup Consulting.

« Nous sommes convaincus que les départements informatiques des entreprises utilisant le « cloud » auront de plus en plus besoin de services à la demande fournis par des centres de données. Cela implique des exigences en matière de flexibilité, d'expertise informatique, de réponse à de nouveaux modes d'approvisionnement, d'expertise des marchés verticaux, de coûts et de différentiation technique. Bien que de nouvelles opportunités importantes de croissance de la capacité se présenteront, l'évolution de la dynamique concurrentielle entraînera également l'apparition de nouveaux gagnants et perdants. Les entreprises et les fournisseurs des centres de données découvriront s'ils seront des gagnants lors de l'évènement Datacentres Europe. »
