Vitesse erteilt Freescale Lizenz für Gigabit Ethernet IP-Kerne

Zu den Zielanwendungen gehören Gateway Router und industrielle Automatisierung sowie Unified Threat Management (UTM) und Network Attached Storage (NAS)-Netzwerke. Zusammengenommen bietet die Prozessorfamilie von Freescale und das ergänzende Portfolio von Ethernet Switches von Vitesse, PHYs und Software Carrier-Grade Ethernet-Funktionalität für verschiedene Kontrollapplikationen und Anwendungen auf Datenebene.
