SCALABLE Names Christine Van Slyke Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Highly Experienced Telecom Executive to Lead Global Sales Force

CULVER CITY, CA--(Marketwired - July 17, 2014) - SCALABLE Network Technologies, Inc. (SCALABLE), the leader in network virtualization technology for planning, testing and training, announced today that Christine Van Slyke has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Van Slyke will assume responsibility for all product sales and business development activities for the company. She will lead a global team with strong experience delivering solutions to governmental and military organizations, and oversee the expansion of sales efforts into broader commercial and public sector markets.

Van Slyke joins SCALABLE after spending the previous twelve years with TELUS, a major telecommunications company based in Canada, where she focused on opening new markets and building alliances with global partners. She successfully built sales teams targeting healthcare organizations, educational institutions, governmental entities and private companies. Prior to TELUS she supported the growth in sales at Pitney Bowes of Canada, a global technology company, and Bank of Montreal, the fourth-largest bank in Canada.

"We are very proud to have Christine join our executive team," stated Jim Zierick, SCALABLE CEO. "She has a great combination of experience and energy that will be a significant asset to the company. SCALABLE sees a tremendous opportunity to mirror our success as a premier supplier of network planning and testing technology for the military into innovative solutions for commercial enterprises that are becoming highly dependent on reliable wireless mobile computing. Christine will be instrumental in planning and executing a strategy to identify and close business in both existing and new markets using a direct sales team and channel partners around the world."

"SCALABLE represents a wonderful opportunity for me to expand my career and experience," said Christine Van Slyke. "I am excited to explore how this advanced technology can be applied to business-critical enterprise networking problems. I also intend to spend time with our key military customers to understand how we can continue to support them as the unique challenges of tactical battlefield communications evolve to incorporate emerging technologies and to respond to new threats."

In today's enterprise, digital transformation represents organizational change even more so than technology change, as customer preferences and behavior drive end-to-end transformation across lines of business as well as IT. To capitalize on the ubiquitous disruption driving this transformation, companies must be able to innovate at an increasingly rapid pace.
Predicting the future has never been more challenging - not because of the lack of data but because of the flood of ungoverned and risk laden information. Microsoft states that 2.5 exabytes of data are created every day. Expectations and reliance on data are being pushed to the limits, as demands around hybrid options continue to grow.
"MobiDev is a Ukraine-based software development company. We do mobile development, and we're specialists in that. But we do full stack software development for entrepreneurs, for emerging companies, and for enterprise ventures," explained Alan Winters, U.S. Head of Business Development at MobiDev, in this SYS-CON.tv interview at 20th Cloud Expo, held June 6-8, 2017, at the Javits Center in New York City, NY.

The explosion of new web/cloud/IoT-based applications and the data they generate are transforming our world right before our eyes. In this rush to adopt these new technologies, organizations are often ignoring fundamental questions concerning who owns the data and failing to ask for permission to conduct invasive surveillance of their customers. Organizations that are not transparent about how their systems gather data telemetry without offering shared data ownership risk product rejection, regulatory scrutiny and increasing consumer lack of trust in technology in general.
