Magenium Solutions Named To Inc. 500|5000's List Of Fastest-Growing Companies For Second Year In A Row

GLEN ELLYN, Ill., Aug. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This week Inc. magazine announced its annual list of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies. Magenium Solutions ranked No. 2287 on the exclusive Inc. 500|5000 list, moving up from No. 2579 the previous year, signaling continued strong growth. This honor acknowledges Magenium's excellent IT service offerings and commitment to client satisfaction. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America's independent entrepreneurs, with IT services being the second largest growth industry.

Magenium Solutions Named to Inc. 5000 List for Second Year in a Row

"Magenium Solutions is honored to have again been recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in America," said Colleen LaMantia, Managing Director, Magenium Solutions. "Every employee makes a contribution to our success and is valued. Magenium Solutions is pleased to be in the company of other powerhouses such as recent alumni Microsoft, Oracle, Pandora and Patagonia. We look forward to yet another exciting year as we continue to grow our revenue by providing expert IT services for our clients."

Magenium has seen revenue growth of more than 170% between 2009 and 2013 and is on track for more of the same this year with no signs of slowing. With a rich portfolio of IT solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Lync, and System Center and services ranging from IT staffing to cloud computing to mobile app development, Magenium is one of the leading IT solution providers in Chicago as well as nationwide. In addition to growing revenues, Magenium has increased its workforce and earlier this year moved to a new "office of the future" to accommodate its growth and showcase its technology tools.

It's been a banner year for Magenium, as the company was recognized as a "Best Companies to Work for in Illinois 2014" for the second year in a row.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the massive amount of information associated with these devices. Ed presented sought out sessions at CloudEXPO Silicon Valley 2017 and CloudEXPO New York 2017. He is a regular contributor to Cloud Computing Journal.
