AppZero Partners with SerenITaaS

New Gold Partner Simplifies Cloud and Server Migration

AppZero, provider of the automated tool to "up-level" server applications to a new operating system or the cloud, has announced that Ontario-based SerenITaaS has joined the AppZero Partner Program as a Gold Partner.  A cloud integration leader with offices in Sydney, Australia, as well as Markham, Ontario, SerenITaaS specializes in integrating cloud technology into existing IT infrastructure. The company is a cloud partner with Microsoft focusing on Office 365 implementations and migrations.

With Windows Server 2003 end of life is approaching, AppZero and SerenITaaS are working together to help customers address the technical challenges of migrating applications to a newer operating system (2008, 2012 or 2012 /R2) or to the cloud.  AppZero makes the move to and from the cloud fast and flexible, extracting and moving server applications in minutes so they can run natively on any version of the operating system, machine or cloud, including managed clouds.

According to Glenn Cameron, CEO at SerenITaaS, "With AppZero, the entire process from the discovery of the application to the migration can be automated without any dependencies on the source machines.  Most Windows applications can be migrated as an application image greatly simplifying the process and mitigating the inherent risk involved with any migration."

AppZero CEO Greg O'Connor added, "We're pleased to welcome SerenITaaS as a Gold Partner and impressed with the work they are doing to help companies direct their efforts towards modernizing their new environments."

In addition to "up-level" migration of applications such as those on Windows Server 2003, AppZero is ideal for performing fast and easy cloud on-boarding of enterprise Windows server applications, moving server applications between servers in private, hybrid, or federated clouds, and bringing enterprise app store (EAS) convenience to server application deployment.

AppZero partners combine cutting edge products and services that open up the business potential of the cloud.  For more information or to participate in the partner program contact[email protected].

All in Mobile is a place where we continually maximize their impact by fostering understanding, empathy, insights, creativity and joy. They believe that a truly useful and desirable mobile app doesn't need the brightest idea or the most advanced technology. A great product begins with understanding people. It's easy to think that customers will love your app, but can you justify it? They make sure your final app is something that users truly want and need. The only way to do this is by researching target group and involving users in the designing process.

Whenever a new technology hits the high points of hype, everyone starts talking about it like it will solve all their business problems. Blockchain is one of those technologies. According to Gartner's latest report on the hype cycle of emerging technologies, blockchain has just passed the peak of their hype cycle curve. If you read the news articles about it, one would think it has taken over the technology world. No disruptive technology is without its challenges and potential impediments that frequently get lost in the hype. The panel will discuss their perspective on what they see as they key challenges and/or impediments to adoption, and how they see those issues could be resolved or mitigated.
