AlertSite UXM is now integrated into the Pager Duty platform

Pager Duty Integration Enables One Stop Convenience for Alerting
By Laura Strassman

Exciting news today for AlertSiteUXM customers and Pager Duty customers. AlertSite UXM is now integrated into the Pager Duty platform - and vice versa so to speak.

"We're thrilled to partner with PagerDuty as many of our customers already know and love them," said Denis Goodwin, SmartBear's Director of Product Management. "Now our joint customers have one place to manage their incidents to proactively handle Web performance issues."

AlertSite UXM already provides fast accurate alerts for application performance problems. But now, AlertSite UXM's alerting is combined with PagerDuty's advanced on-call scheduling, escalation and notification capabilities. The result is a highly efficient system that keeps the team on top of issues that affect end users.

Joint customers will be able to easily create AlertSite UXM services within the PagerDuty interface and associate it with an AlertSite UXM alert notification group.  Since each AlertSite UXM service is associated with a PagerDuty escalation policy, there is no need to separately manage on-call schedules, escalation procedures or notification methods.

Alertsite UXM continues to build an ecosystem of tools that can help deliver and maintain great software applications. We are pleased to be able to offer this integration that our customers have been asking for so they can plug into the tools they already use.

"PagerDuty is rapidly expanding our vast partner ecosystem by integrating with best-in-breed software vendors like SmartBear to help operations, engineering and IT professionals improve their system availability," said PagerDuty CTO, Andrew Miklas. "Together we're creating highly available and responsive products by supporting those teams, and we're really excited to continue to offer flexible solutions to our customers by integrating with SmartBear's AlertSite UXM."

Available now, PagerDuty's integration with SmartBear's AlertSite UXM is free to current customers. Users can start their configuration using this integration guide. For more information, visit: http://www.pagerduty.com/docs/guides/smartbears-alertsite-uxm-integration-guide/.
