Largest Offshore Testing Provider in Systems Integration Agreement to Offer Surgient Virtual Lab Management Applications, Reduci

AUSTIN, Texas and BANGALORE, India, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Surgient, a leading vendor in Virtual Lab Management Applications for accelerating software delivery, and Wipro Technologies, the global IT services arm of Wipro Limited , today announced a strategic systems integration agreement to provide organizations with software testing solutions. Wipro's Testing Services Division, the largest 3rd party offshore testing services provider, will implement Surgient's award-winning virtual lab management software to accelerate software testing cycles and deployment times for customers across the globe.

By virtue of the agreement, Wipro's Testing Services Division will be a systems integrator for Surgient's Virtual QA/Test Lab Management System (VQMS) worldwide. VQMS helps consolidate and automate the computing infrastructure used in the testing of enterprise software. Wipro will also include Surgient VQMS in its Center of Excellence. The companies also agreed to organize joint go-to-market activities.

"Today's complex and mission-critical software environments present a real challenge for effectively testing and diagnosing defects prior to production deployment. voke research shows that 50 percent of organizations who use virtual lab management increase the number of defects found prior to production thereby reducing the overall total cost of quality throughout the lifecycle," said Theresa Lanowitz, founder and principal analyst at voke, inc. and former Gartner Research Director. "By using virtualization technology to automate the creation of a software test environment, Surgient's Virtual Lab Management Applications accelerate the software delivery process and reduce software development costs. Wipro's ability to test in a virtual lab environment saves resources, reduces the risk of globally distributed teams, and increases operational efficiency. Wipro's partnership with Surgient will help both companies respond to the market's growing demand for delivering highly effective and scalable software testing solutions."

"Today's organizations demand more powerful, customizable and multi- functional enterprise software solutions that can be rolled out quickly and within budget," said Mr. Gangadharaiah C.P., senior vice president and worldwide head of Testing Services Division for Wipro Technologies. "As the largest 3rd party independent software testing services provider, we are constantly looking for new technologies that will help us meet the software testing needs of our customers. Using Surgient Virtual Lab Management Applications to automate the provisioning and testing of software applications will enable our customers to more quickly deploy new enterprise applications."

"By this agreement with Surgient and integrating Surgient VQMS, Wipro can now combine Surgient's offering with its own experience with 3rd party automation tools to seamlessly add virtual lab automation into the software development lifecycle," said Tim Lucas, president and CEO, Surgient. "Wipro can provide its customers virtual lab services to test software applications and software patches before they are rolled out across the physical enterprise."

The precious oil is extracted from the seeds of prickly pear cactus plant. After taking out the seeds from the fruits, they are adequately dried and then cold pressed to obtain the oil. Indeed, the prickly seed oil is quite expensive. Well, that is understandable when you consider the fact that the seeds are really tiny and each seed contain only about 5% of oil in it at most, plus the seeds are usually handpicked from the fruits. This means it will take tons of these seeds to produce just one bottle of the oil for commercial purpose. But from its medical properties to its culinary importance, skin lightening, moisturizing, and protection abilities, down to its extraordinary hair care properties, prickly seed oil has got lots of excellent rewards for anyone who pays the price.
