Zeus Technology, a leading provider of application delivery controller software announced that ZXTM (Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager) has been selected by NTractive as part of its infrastructure to manage its hybrid web application, Elements SBM.
Elements SBM is a feature-rich online business management application that offers subscribers a combination of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and PIM (Personal Information Management). Available as Software as a Service (SaaS), Elements SBM is aimed at the small-to-medium enterprise (SME) market.
Says Justin Bartak, Co-founder and CTO of Ntractive "In order to offer Elements SBM as a reliable '24/7‘ Software as a Service (SaaS), we needed our infrastructure to be robust and scalable. We chose ZXTM because it offers a cost-effective entry point, with the ability to scale both horizontally and vertically. With ZXTM, we can consistently deliver excellent service to existing and future customers, even during peaks of extreme traffic."
Paul Brennan, CEO and Chairman of Zeus Technology adds, "Ntractive represents a new breed of high-tech company that sees beyond the usual link of hardware and software as form and function when it comes to planning their business. This demand for hardware-independent application delivery will become increasingly important as the outsourcing model continues to evolve into concepts such as SaaS and cloud computing."
