Jungle Disk Workgroup Edition Powered By the Amazon S3 Cloud Computing Service

Jungle Disk Launches Online Storage for Business

Jungle Disk announced that the Jungle Disk Workgroup Edition, an online storage and file sharing solution for teams and businesses, has been released out of beta. Jungle Disk products are safe, secure, cost effective and simple solutions for online storage and back-up to the Amazon S3 Cloud Computing Service.

“The Jungle Disk Workgroup Edition builds on the groundbreaking Jungle Disk Desktop Edition by allowing businesses to easily share an unlimited amount of online storage between multiple users via a secure network drive and integrated automatic backup,” said Dave Wright, founder and CEO of Jungle Disk. “The Jungle Disk Workgroup Edition is specifically designed to help teams and small to mid-sized businesses collaborate and protect critical data across every level of the organization.”

With the Jungle Disk Workgroup Edition, a single Amazon S3 account allows for consolidated billing and enables an administrator to manage access permissions and backups for the entire organization. Through remote backup reporting, administrators can receive backup reports via web, E-mail, and RSS, allowing them to easily stay on top of backups and ensure they are notified if any errors occur.

Wright continued, “Cloud Computing promises to simplify IT infrastructure while reducing costs across the board. The Jungle Disk Workgroup Edition allows teams and businesses to realize the benefits of cloud computing today via the unlimited cloud storage provided by Amazon S3.”
