AtTask has announced that a new version of its @task on-demand PPM software is now available. The new release includes several user-requested features and product enhancements, illustrating the company's commitment to its customers and meeting their project management software needs.
Customers such as Google, Heritage Academies, and Whirlpool requested specific features to help them meet their objectives, and, as a result, AtTask dedicated this product release to responding to customer input. One key new feature, out of more than 30 included in this release, is the ability to integrate other business applications via mashups within @task. Applications such as Salesforce.com, SAP, or SharePoint can all be opened as tabs within @task, allowing users to access their critical information and quickly integrate that data with @task.
Other key features include two-way sync with MS Project, scheduled reports, recurring tasks, automatic change-in-status notifications; new reports, charts, and dashboards; the ability to preview reports; and viewable baselines.
As part of its focus on customers, AtTask also launched its new online community. The online community features Idea Share, a new way for customers to contribute to the @task development process. Customers can submit their own ideas, discuss ideas and vote on their favorites, and watch as these ideas are incorporated into future versions of @task.
