David S. Linthicum, a well-known pioneer in the worlds of cloud computing and service-oriented architecture, has launched Blue Mountain Labs, a company equipped to take enterprises and technology vendors into the emerging world of cloud computing.

Linthicum during his SOA World keynote at SYS-CON's 1st International Cloud Computing Conference & Expo
Blue Mountain Labs uses a methodology called Cloudsizing to analyze their clients' business needs - thoroughly examining who they are and what they do - before they define a cloud computing solution or strategy that will work for their clients' enterprises, large or small. They also work with innovative cloud computing providers who welcome third-party strategy assistance, technology validation, and testing to help them become exceptional in the marketplace.
"Blue Mountain Labs is not just a consulting organization, but a working cloud computing laboratory," says David Linthicum, CEO and Founder of Blue Mountain Labs. "We discover, we understand, we analyze, we validate, we test, and we leave nothing to chance to insure that our clients are successful. We leverage a proven methodology known as Cloudsizing, to insure that all aspects of the business are considered before moving components of IT to cloud platforms, thus reducing risk, increasing efficiency, and greatly lowering costs."
Blue Mountain Labs is also the creator of the Cloud Computing Podcast, now with over 1,000 subscribers and several name-brand sponsors. The Cloud Computing Podcast provides core advice that transcends the hype to those who are thinking about leveraging cloud computing for their enterprises.
